Word.doc File Won't Load
Files that I receive as an attachment won't open. I click the file and Word for Mac 2011 starts and the title appears followed by (Compatibility Mode). There might be a title at the top of the page and only pictures appear but no Text. There may be some lines across the page.
I opened 5 or 6 Word.doc files ( from Word for Mac 2000) on my HD and they opened fine. Also in (Compatibility Mode). This is a new version I just purchased and started to use. Can you help.
