[almost OT] Charles, given your length of service and the fact you know an Alt+F combination when you see one <g> any idea where I can get a list of the pre-ribbon shortcuts? A few are burned into my motor memory, and very handy; others, since I'm only an occasional user, get me no farther than "You are using a shortcut from an earlier version – feeling lucky?" because of partial recollection.

I have an A3 sheet with (most of) the shortcuts for my usual environment, and find it so much faster not to have to stop and reach for the mouse.

AFAIK, all pre-ribbon shortcuts work. (You just have to be quick with the Alt- ones!)

I usually use F1 (help) and type in "keyboard shortcut." From there I get this article in Word 2010. See Function Keys in Word 97-2013 for more ideas and links.

You can create a list that includes your customizations using the ListCommands Word command under the macros dialog (in Word commands). That might be the source of your other document.
