![]() When I go to print a Word doc the document name, directory, created date, etc are all printing (appending) at the end of the Word doc. This just started on 12-21-13. Using Word 2003. Any ideas on how to turn it off? |

Clear the option to print document properties. I haven't used Word 2003 in a while, but if I believe that the option is on the Print tab of Tools | Options.

Just leave yourself a note somewhere of how to turn it back on <g> I've had colleagues turn up at my desk clutching a single page of printout with no header or footer and asking me "Can you get me the source of this document so we can edit it?" No document management platform, a range of departmental servers … if it had been a document I'd written myself, the filename would have been there in the footer to aid identification/retrieval.
