I assume that by "appropriate fields" you mean setting it for a dot leader.
Probably, this is best done modifying or defining a style. Then applying the Style where you want the dot leaders. I am assuming you are not creating a Table of Contents by hand. If you are, you are really trying to push string. How to create a table of contents in Microsoft Word |
