How can I create a master document using over 100 word documents? I have over 100 word documents (forms my staff use for work). I want to be able to have a master copy that will have all the forms in one print. HELP. I have tried to click outline view & insert a document 1 at a time but this will take hours or days. Is there a FAST EASY way to insert all the forms in a few clicks?

You could use a macro for the process. However, if your source documents have their own page layouts, headers/footers, etc., any method of combining them all in one document could end up being somewhat messy. So, do you really need to incorporate them into a single document, or are you just trying to print them?

You could convert them to pdf and use Adobe Acrobat or another pdf handler to combine them as a pdf.
Because you use the term "master document" and may be doing a Google search using that term a warning is appropriate. Word has a "feature" called Master Document. If you are tempted to use it, read this first: Master Documents Feature in Microsoft Word. |
