Hi guys.

I have a relatively big document based on the style of the file I have attached. The document I have attached is how I would like my other document to look like.

I've got a bunch of numbered paragraphs with the numbering within the left column. Everything is aligned nicely using the little down arrows up in the ruler at the top of the page. The text itself contains hyperlinked cross-references to appendices which have a custom number structure.

To make things clearer, I have been asked to put similar hyperlinks in the right hand column, as shown in the attached file. In the file I have attached, I have done this using a text box with a cross-reference, but it is time consuming having to manually position the text box such that it aligns nicely both with the paragraph as well as with the other textboxes which I would have to draw. Snap to grid doesn't help as the paragraphs aren't fitted to the grid and things quickly get out of sync. I have a lot of paragraphs with a lot of links, therefore I am after a quicker, more efficient way of doing this.

In an ideal world, I would be able to continue typing along the same line as the first line of the paragraph, and be able to set the justification using the down arrows in the ruler, but I can't seem to achieve this.

Does anyone have any ideas or tips/tricks to help me?
