I'm using a List Style to manage a multi-level list. And I have it set to restart numbering after a new Level 1 is created. And it worked, at first. But when I later try to insert a new item in a Level 3 list which would be item #3, it picks up the next number from the NEXT Level 3 list (which did restart properly at 1). So I have this situation:
I A 1 2 6 II B 1 2 3 4 5 7 (The lists levels are indented at .25", I just can't seem to make it look that way here. Level i is I, II, III, etc, Level 2 is A, B, C, and Level 3 is 1,2,3). All these are using my named list style, I checked. And if I highlight a number in the first Level 3 list, all the Level 3 items in both lists are selected. I also tried "Restart Numbering" on the item #1 in the second list but it made no difference. And it will not let me Set a specific value for my current item #6 in the first list. ? |
