It doesn't matter whether the Heading1 Style exists in the Styles list. What matters is whether it has been used in the document. I can't see any indication of that in the images you posted.
Correct Paul.

At the end, I found out that no text in the document belongs to headings. The black solid square (attached) is the sign that a text belong to a heading. now it works fine.
