Fail to insert “table of content”,

Jamal,

It doesn't matter whether the Heading1 Style exists in the Styles list. What matters is whether it has been used in the document. I can't see any indication of that in the images you posted.

Many thanks Paul,

I have selected some text (shown in the attached screenshots) which indicates that it belongs to the “heading 1” style. This proves that the “heading 1” is used in the document.

What other issues should I check?

Correct Paul.

At the end, I found out that no text in the document belongs to headings. The black solid square (attached) is the sign that a text belong to a heading. now it works fine.
