Why do I get „apostrophes“ like this?
I use "shift" + 2, as normally, but in one worddokument I get the first apostrophe on the line. I have checked language settings and it is OK (english and Swedish) Thbk you for any help! /Katarina ![]() |

Note that language is a character property in Word. If you have the "Detect language automatically" option selected at Review tab | Language | Set Proofing Language, Word tries to guess the language and may change it at the insertion point. Clear the option and then see which language has actually been applied to your quotation marks. Change it back to what you want.

Thanks for the feedback. Turning off the auto-detection should fix the problem for future documents. But if you have other documents that don't "behave," you will have to select all the text and re-apply the correct language there as well (via Review | Language | Set Proofing Language).
Vänliga hälsningar Stefan
