Default cut and paste problems

Hi just checking in to see if anyone has encountered the following problem. When I cut and paste either withing the same document in Word or from Word to Outlook, the formatting stays the same but then the cursor jumps to the next line. It's no big deal but just rather annoying. I just updated word with a Macro that allows me to create any fraction not just the standard 1/2, 1/4, or 3/4. I got the coding from a website and it works like a champ but I can't figure out why cut and paste went awry. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office with no success. I do admit that on certain advice I opened up what is called normal.dotm but it was beyond my feeble attempts at controlling. I made some entries to give me a larger indent on the right margin but I don't know if that's what affected the cut and paste and can't figure out how to get back there to see if I can figure out if that's what caused the new problem. Anyway Help!!! Thanks.

Manny
