Hi there,
I have an example document that has a multilevel list, where I am supposed to use the format for the content my document (which is also a list). However, when I copy and paste between the two, it gets all fukcocked because my list is at a different level than the destination formatting. If this isn't clear, say that in the format document, I have this list format: Chapter: Section: Type: 1.1 but in my content document, I have only:A. 1.1 A.As a result, when I copy and paste between the two, everything comes in at the wrong level, and I don't seem to be able to change the starting list level for the entire list, I can only select individual parts and change their list level. Does that make sense? Please help, this comes up all the time and I haven't found a faster way than changing it all manually, which takes HOURS... they're big documents with a lot bullets. Thanks! |
