I need some help with numbering. I have a list that includes the top 5 headers with the first three of them having automatic numbering. The numbers go like this:
L1.1 L1.1.1 L1.1.1.1 Then heading 4 is just a style with no section. The section starts at section L4.2 and goes from there on to L5.X and L6.X and so on. Thats where I'm having a problem. I manually put in L. and then I let it auto number from there. But I need it to start at L4.2 and I can't get it to use 2 auto numbers in heading 1. I have manually put in L4. and then started the auto number and that works until I get to L5, which messes me all up. Unless I need to define a new style for each major section...?? I really need some help. Please let me know if I need to clarify. |
