Default How to permit highlighting in a protected document

Hi all,

I have a document with styles that is restricted. It works great except that users are unable to highlight text.

Is there a way to permit highlighting yet keep the template restricted to styles?

Thanks

Unfortunately, no. As a workaround, you can add a character style with shading applied to it. Users can then apply the style to text that should be "highlighted."
