Turn on display of non-printing characters (Ctrl-Shift-8 or Ctrl-*). Is there a section break there? That section may have a different header.
Sections / Headers and Footers in Microsoft Word 2007-2013 You can insert a section break without knowing it by changing columns, orientation, or margins.
