Indeed, if you want just the spacing that is built into the font, you should set Spacing Before and After to zero and select "Single" for Line Spacing.
To clarify further, Spacing Before and After determine the spacing added between paragraphs when you press Enter (this value will be added to the current line spacing). Line Spacing determines the spacing between lines of a paragraph.
