Default Word form - created successfully, problem filling out

Hello everyone,

I've recently created a form in Word, where some of the fields require writing out your answer and others just ticking a box. I locked the form so that it can be filled in, and when I tested it, I encountered the following problem: everything runs smoothly until I tick a box; after I tick a box (a typical yes/no question), I can't introduce text in any of the fields that require typing. I've tried different combination of text fields and tick boxes, and it makes no difference. What seems to block the fields is the act of ticking a box.

I'm quite new to forms in Word, so I have no idea what might have gone wrong or where to look for a solution. So any hints would be highly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
