Default Finding docs in word

Hello,

I just finished a class and saved all papers to Word. I am now going back to put them into skydrive and can only find 2 of 13. I want to know if there is a way to open all in Word just to find them because I am putting in variations(ex week2, week02, week2jmg) to see if I can find them and can't. In Word it only says recent documents- anyway to bring up all? I have already looked under documents in computer-not there. Though neither were the ones I recovered in Word that I remembered what the name saved!!

That is all very confusing.

1. Word lists the Recent Files, but if they are not there...they are not there. Word itself does not record anything other than those files. There is no "all".

2. "neither were the ones I recovered in Word" Recovered? Why recovered?

3. Did you do any saving to a USB drive?
