Thanks a lot eNGINe, it looks like it's not even possible to do what I'm doing. I'm finding it's actually easier to work with one long normal document, then split it into the individual documents when I'm done the revisions. Even if I have to do that a couple of times before the project is over. So that's what I'm doing now. I've wasted a lot time though...sigh.
