I am looking to find a simple solution to my problem.

How do I create PDFs from Microsoft Office 2013 that will embed fonts and maintain clickable inline links after being converted to a PDF?

The goal is to have anyone, running any version of Acrobat or Word, be able to open, read and click the inline links embedded in the created PDF.

Part of the answer is to check your fonts: some fonts have restrictive licensing that won't let you use them in a .pdf
