table of content
I download a Word doc from a trust source- it came through as a doc with tables. But then the file did something to my existing setting and I am unable to view my Table of Contents -- I get this:
{TOC \o "1-3"\u}

Press Alt-F9 which is the shortcut to toggle display of field codes.
