Hello Charles Kenyon and Macropod,
Thank you both for your answers. When I tried to print, part of a border would be missing some of one of the sides - usually the side or bottom border. I have now tried changing the margins from 0.25" up to 1" and this still shows the same warning of the borders being outside the printable area. I then saved the border designed page as a PDF and tried printing this out. It printed but came in Landscape and only on the right side of the page. I then opened it up again, went to 'Print' and 'Orientation' - chose Portrait. Then under 'Page Size & Handling' I chose 'Size' and the image showed that it was as I had wished to print it. I then printed it out and I have the required result. All very helpful, but what a "palaver" to print out a page with a border, you would not really think that it would be so complicated! Anyway, thank you both, the 'problem' is now solved - and will be added to my file of "Solving errors" !! Regards, Colinito. |
