By default, on the recipient end, documents created elsewhere will be opened in protected mode (no editing) with the option to allow editing. I know of no way the sender can turn this off; nor should there be a way. This is a low level of security. You could explain this in your transmittal email. They can read and print without leaving protected mode. |
