Default Lost Document

Hi,

Can anyone please help me? I have written a 3000 business document and without thinking thought that it would be autosaving. How wrong could I be. unfortunately for me word crashed and shut the whole computer down upon restarting, the document is no where to be found. does anyone know of a way that I can retrieve this document as I have been through my entire computer and can not find it anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated.

Since Word crashed, you should have been offered an AutoRecover file on restart. You could search your hard drive for files with the asd extension. Beyond that, there is nothing you can do.
