Check box and text box in same document ? cant edit / enter text

Although content controls and formfields can be used in the same document with forms protection, you really shouldn't do so as they're not designed for that. Since you're using Word 2010, why not stick with content controls (there is also a checkbox content control), which you can use with or without document protection?

I have attached the file for you to have a quick look at.

I am using 2007 at home and 2010 at work and I have created this in 2007.
