I have three problems with my book manuscript:

1) Some footers appear on the page, most don't. How can I make them all appear?

2) Footnotes usually appear on the page, but sometimes they don't. Also, some footnote entries have blank lines between them. Most don't. I would like all of them not to have lines between.

3) I am redoing a ms. previously printed as an e-book for my web site. I now need to completely redo the electronic indices. How do I tell the machine to delete the previous indexing?

I am using Word 2002. I've tried repeatedly to find the answer to these things on my Help menu. Thank you for any help you can give me.
