Default Normal style is modified by text pasted from email

Hi there,

My Normal style in my Normal template in Word 2010 is set with Arial 10pt font.

I recently noticed that when I copy text from an email in Outlook that was set to Calibri 11pt font, and paste it into a blank Word doc, that my Normal style in Word (presumably just for that document) becomes Calibri 11pt font.

Interestingly, this doesn't affect any of my other styles that are based on the Normal style...

Any thoughts as to why this might be happening?
