Default Clicking a picture to go to MSpaint?

I have a form I use for work which has a couple diagrams that require a small amount of simple freehand drawing. On the form, I can double click one of the boxes and it bring up the diagram in MSpaint, I can make the freehand drawing, click the "x" , and it appears in the document. Yet on the other couple of boxes, it does not do this?

What do I need to change to be able to make these simple drawings with out having to print the form and then scan it back in?
