I use Word a lot. Recently I do not know what I did, but everytime I open word there are little circles, dots, and other items before sentence and between each word.



It does not print out, but it is confusing me. I do not know how to eliminate all these small items which are all over the pages, even the ones I have saved and I open. I do not know what I did to make these come up.

I have 2003 software. Thanks for any help.

The marks are just formatting marks to show you where you have spaces, tabs, paragraph breaks and the like. You can toggle their display on/off by clicking the ¶ symbol on Word's Standard toolbar.
