Do you want overscores, or macrons - as per your other thread (https://www.msofficeforums.com/word/...e-macrons.html)?

thank you Paul. I want overscores, like this one: ō ā ē

the way i got these was to switch my keyboard to Maōri, of all things. there must be an easier way on Word. thank you for your help. If you have any idea re this, I'm very grateful.

Also, how to get a ~ over an n for Spanish is a question I have.

cheers
