i have written a long report and i'm now trying to figure how the page numbering works.
the order is as follows : cover page acknowledgments abstract TOC Main text i only want numbering to start from Main text (page 1) and don't want it to appear elsewhere. why is it that when i insert page numbers in main text, it appears on the TOC too? i've already added -next page- break, but it doesn't seem to work. now the numbering is as such : toc 1 - page 1 toc 2 - page 2 main text 1 - page 1 ... page 80 |
