![]() Hi all, I am doing a research and I am gathering contents from different documents and copy them to a master document. I have a document that when I want to copy it to master document, after copying it, I cannot save it and the master document does not permit to save it after changing it and it is really on nerve. I have copied many contents from different documents but the main problem that I have is with one of them. Does any one can help me? |

Hi
Try these steps: 1. Turn on the Show/Hide function which is on the Home tab about half way along the screen. 2. Enter Ctrl+A to select the whole document. 3. Enter Ctrl+Shift+Left Arrow - this has the effect of deselecting the very last paragraph mark in your document which contains most of the formatting for the whole of the document. 4. Enter Ctrl+N to create a new document. 5. Try and save the document then. Let me know if this works. Good luck. Tony |

Thanks a lot, also for me it was really helpful! I lost my work after copy pasting a text from another word document. Luckily I could retreive an older version and with this advice I could insert the text and save my document
