Hello. I am looking for word 2007 template that I can use for reports. We have 5 departments that present reports on a weekly basis. I would like to have something like this:
ADMIN-001 PW-001 and then the next report template they open would automatically number sequentially: ADMIN-002 etc. I am not experienced with macros of code so any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you. Cat |

Hi
Could you not have a separate template for each Dept already pre-numbered? Tony |

I could but I am trying to create a template with the numbered reports for easy reference. I see there are some examples to sequentially number invoices but I can't seem to find anything for word.

Hi Cat
Are you able to provide a little more information on what you are trying to achieve overall as there may be an option to use Excel for your sequential numbering. Tony |
