I am also having trouble with the different page number formatting. I do as they instruct and insert a next page section break, I then break the link between sections. I format the preliminary pages of my report with roman numerals in the bottom center of the page. The body of my report of the report I number in the top right corner. And I suppress the page numbers on the first pages.

What ends up happening is I get roman numbers on the top right and the bottom center of the preliminary pages including the first page, and arabic numbers on the top right and bottom center of the body and including the first page .

Someone please help!!!
