Hi
The standard setting (internal) is to display up to the last 10 documents opened. Sounds like you have an issue with your setup. You try and run a repair on your Office installation and see if that cures your issue. That is of course if you have not opened the same document ten times when of course it would show the same name ten time in the Recent files list  .Good luck. Tony
