My company policy dictates that docm cannot be opened. I am researching a manual way of converting a docm to a dotm by manually editing the files inside of a docm (zip file). Please let me know if the similar steps can be done for Excel 2010 files. Thanks. |

I don't think this is possible, unfortunately.
Why don't you want *.docm files to be opened? If it's for security reasons (as *.docm can contain macros), note that you can disable all macros in the Trust Center Settings dialog box.
