I do not mean to interrupt but, your screenshots show the problem.

On both screenshots, the line just above the space you enter data (I have no idea what that line is called) show two tabs: The left-hand tab illustrates the first line of the left-hand margin of your document. The right-hand tab shows the second and succeeding lines of your text.

Now, the cause of that is the settings within your "Managing Styles" menu. Your menu shows within the "Paragraph Position" portion the 'Special" option is set to "Hanging" and "By" is set to .25. That is why you get the 2nd and succeeding lines indented. If you adjust the "Special" setting to "None" (the "By" portion will revert to nil) the second and succeeding lines will align with the first line (no indentation).

Hope I did not interfer or cause further confusion (the experts are far more reliable than I).
