Hi everyone,



I've run into this a couple of times and haven't found a solution yet. I'm using Word 2010 for PC, and occasionally when I try to add a style from the Styles Window to the Quick Styles Gallery in the ribbon, the style will not add.

In a document today I can't seem to get any style from the style menu to show in the gallery. I'm using the drop down menu next to the individual styles in the styles window, then choosing "Add to Quick Style Gallery."

In the document I'm working on today, I am unable to add any styles from the window to the gallery. I have tried closing the document and reopening it; saving the file with a new name, closing it, and opening it; changing to a different style set and then trying to add styles; and reverting to a previous style set and attempting to add styles (none successful in terms of getting a style from the Styles Window to add to the Quick Styles Gallery in the ribbon).

Any ideas why the styles won't show up in the gallery? (For now I have just saved a selection as a new style, which does add to the style menu as a temporary solution. But I'd like to be able to solve the problem above.)
