Not with your current approach.
If you want the word 'Chapter' to appear with the headings in the body of the document but not in the TOC, you could create a separate paragraph containing only the word 'Chapter' before the actual heading (in a different style but formatted to look the same as the heading), then press Ctrl-Alt-Enter to merge them visually.
