Currently working on an SOP manual. Document is set up with section break-new page to separate the various existing sections of the document. The headers and footers for each section are not linked to the previous, so that each section's header and footer are different. I now need to insert new sections between already existing sections. I tried inserting a new section break-new page and inserting text before it, but game me all sorts of problems. Each section starts with a table for signatures of those responsible for that section. When I inserted the new section and text, everything looked OK until I tried to print it. Then the table appeared in both the header and footer for that section, but no longer in the body of the document where I put it. I gave up and deleted the new section and text, and everything is OK again. Where did I go wrong and how should I go about inserting a new section?

At some point, I will also have to rearrange the sections for a more logical flow. Any pointers on accomplishing that task too would be greatly appreciated.
