I am using word 2007. Every time I open word and type a sentence and press enter to the next line a space is put between each sentence. What can I change so that when I press enter the next sentence goes directly below? Thanks.

Create a new, blank document, for example by pressing Ctrl+N. In the Styles pane (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S), click the Manage Styles button. On the Set Defaults tab, make sure that Spacing Before and After are both set to zero. Select "New documents based on this template" and click OK. If/when you are prompted to save the Normal template, choose to do so.
