Place the insertion point in the bulleted paragraph. Click Format | Styles and Formatting. In the task pane, locate the style name applied to the selection. Right-click it and choose Modify from the context menu. Look at the "Style for following paragraph" setting. Make sure that it is identical to the style name (because otherwise another style will be applied as you press Enter at the end of the paragraph). For example, if the style is List Bullet, make sure that "Style for following paragraph" says "List Bullet."
