1. Select the text to be highlighted.

2. Choose Format | Borders and Shading from the menu.

3. Click on the Shading tab.

4. In the Apply to: drop-down list, choose Text.

5. Click on the color closest to the color you want.

6. Click the More Colors button.

7. Choose a color from the color hexagon, or click the Custom tab and choose any color at all.

8. Click OK and OK again.
