Hi there,
I am trying to use the same header but I need to use different footers, e.g.; XXX Pag1 Footer1 Pag2 XXX Footer1 XXX Pag3 Footer2 Pag4 XXX Footer2 XXX Pag5 Footer2 Pag6 XXX Fotter3 I would like to do that without changing the pagination. Thank you in advance. Best regards. |

First, you can change the content of a footer or header to reflect the current content of the page without changing the footer or header. You use a StyleRef Field to do this.
Second, if you really need to change your headers and footers, you can insert a next-page, an odd-page, or an even-page section break. You do not need to change the pagination to do this. Turn off the link to previous setting in the Header/Footer context tab. Sections / Headers and Footers in Microsoft Word 2007-2010 Is this what you needed? |

Hi there,
Thank you for your attention. What is happening is that I have a section for a Chapter, and I just want to change the last four footers, but even if I uncheck the "Same as previous" I change all the footers. If I use a section break in the first two pages I change the pagination. Until now I didn't manage to change the footers of the four last pages without changing the pagination on the header... I am not sure if your suggestion will work. Regards. EDIT: What is the way of telling word to maintain pagination from the previous section? Thank you. |

Format Page Numbers. You can reach this on the header/footer tab or on the Insert tab.
