Thumbs up Header and Footer Questions

Hello,

I have simple header and footer question. I want to have headers and footers in my documents. But there are certain pages i do not want to have a header and footer (say the first or last pages). Can someone give me a step by step instruction on how to do this. I could easily do this if Office still had the toolbars. But this new ribbon feature conufuses me greatly, and I'm still ajusting to it.

Thanks,

Cody Miller

Uh, shouldn't it display my version of word next to my name? I use Office 2010. And I'm not too sure what "sections" are.

You have Word 2010. What version of Word do I have?

Sections / Headers and Footers in Microsoft Word 2007-2010

Here are step-by-step instructions but reading the chapter on sections first will help:
How to set up a document with front matter 2007
How to control the page numbering in a Word document
