Default How to get lines all the way to bottom

I am trying to find a way to override the default setting that will not allow me to place lines of type all the way to the very bottom of each page. It's leaving blank lines instead of allowing me to SPLIT a short paragraph that hits the bottom of the page. It insists on placing that entire paragraph on the NEXT page. This ruins the look of the pages, as it is a book (with page size 6x9")

I sure would appreciate info on where in the menus I can find a way to unset this auto feature.

Thank you!
Phyllis
