I am trying to create Master pages with guidelines that I would like to remain visible on every new page based on the Master - however if I drag a new guideline to say, the 3" mark, to match one already on a previous page, the previous one disappears. So it seems I can only use a guideline in a given area on the page I am currently editing.
Is there any way around this? I'm trying to create a template and having some consistency would be helpful

Master page? This sounds more like PowerPoint than Word to me...
