Copying the numbered paragraphs and pasting them in plain text format would add the numbers as static text. That is the easiest solution, assuming that "frozen" numbers are OK in the target document of course.

In case it should still be relevant, you can select in the source document, remove the numbering (as suggested in a post above) by choosing Format/Numbering and selecting None (keyboard shortcut Alt+O,N for the dialogue), copying the selection and pasting.
Either before or after pasting, you can return the numbering to the source doc, either by pressing Ctrl+Z, using the toolbar/ribbon icon, or simply closing the source doc without saving the change. Best, Ulodesk |
