They are all named "Figure". The problem is that they do update correctly, but on the same page, if I have 3 images and I want them to be numbered from top to bottom "Figure 1", "figure 2" and "figure 3", it is not working. I end up having "figure 3" then underneath "Figure 1" and then at the bottom "Figure 2".
I have no idea why this is happening, but it still does. The thing is that there is no text at all in the document. It is just a handbook full of pictures and captions. I have tried to replace the captions by headings (numbered) and it is still doing the same weird numbering... Maybe another software would be better to do that? (with the options like Table of content...) Many thanks! |
