This has annoyed me since 07, but whenever I want to select some text, Word will add a character, or the rest of the word, or something else that I don't want.
Is there a setting that will give me exactly the text selected without anything added, not even a space? I want to be able to click in one place, even if it is the middle of a word, and then press the shift key and click in another place, and have exactly the text between the 2 clicks selected. Is this possible? Forum search didn't turn up anything, but I'm hoping. Thanks in advance, best wishes |
